(me, a few years ago)
I was born on May the 25th in the year 1977 in the small town Markranstädt near Leipzig (GDR). After finishing school with "Abitur" in 1995, I started studying a kind of computer science at the university of Leipzig with an interruption in 1996/1997 because of my military service. In June of 2002 I've finished my diploma thesis in computer graphics at the cgip department of the faculty of computer science and by receiving my diploma in August I also finalised my studies. Since April 2003 I'm working at the Max-Planck-Institute of Cognitive NeuroScience as a member of the Signal and Image Processing (SIP) group.
